How to Use Castor Oil for Hair Growth

Hair conditioning

You may use castor oil as a hair conditioner. It is better to mix the oil with lighter oil, such as almond oil. Apply the mix twice a week.

Massage oil

One of the best ways of how to use castor oil for hair growth is to massage the oil onto the scalp and hair roots. Make circular movements for 7-10 minutes. Rinse the oil. This will remove the dead cells and improves blood circulation.

Hair mask

Hot treatment

Hot treatment means that you will warm the oil prior to use. Warm oil penetrates the hair cells quickly and easily and is considered highly effective. For oil hot treatment apply warm oil to the roots and scalp in circular movements. Put on a shower cap and wrap a warm towel over it. Leave the oil for an hour and shampoo afterwards. You may leave the mask overnight for deep effect. The oil will seep into the roots and scalp cells providing nutrition for hair growth.     I thought castor oil is the most effective treatment for hair growth? this article does not make sense at all. one second you talk about how castor oil for hair growth does not work, then you talk about how it makes the hair healthy. then suddenly it talks about that ways on how to use castor oil for hair growth? does it really work or not???

      i think what the article is trying to say is castor oil helps “encourage” hair growth by keeping the hair healthy. yea, it kinda makes no sense but that’s at least what i got from it.

      The article does seem to be confusing. But using it as massage oil or through any method listed above, it will definitely make your hair grow.
