Budwig Cancer Diet

Once in the early 1950s the German cancer researcher Dr. Johanna Budwig stated of the cottage cheese and flaxseed oil combined effect. She created a treatment protocol with a strict diet that forbad sugar, margarine, salad oil, meat as well as animal fats. She recommended eating vegetables, fruit and high-fiber foods together with flaxseed oil and cottage cheese. Budwig meant to mix flaxseed oil with cottage cheese as a cancer cure.  As she believe the absence of linolenic acids in our nutrition leads to oxidase production and this induces cancer results in a large number of other chronic diseases.  She realized that it is necessary to use oxygen from the body to remove cancer cells. Oxygen can be activated by sulfur protein compounds.  These sulfur protein compounds are found in cottage cheese. When we mix cottage cheese and flaxseed oil the chemical reaction takes place where the oil becomes more water soluble and is absorbed easily in the membranes of cells.

However, in spite of Budwig’s reports of successful results achieved after several weeks of her protocol application, modern medicine doesn’t acknowledge the use of flaxseed oil and cottage cheese for cancer treatment. More researches are needed to find out benefits of cottage cheese and flaxseed oil for people with cancer.

So, it is better to consider flaxseed oil and cottage cheese as a healthy snack. These two components are synergistic; they complement each other and will be beneficial for your health in any case.
