Hemp Oil Recipes for Light and Healthy Breakfast

1.    Hemp Apple Butter Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 2 apples
  • 0,5-1 cup cider (apple juice)
  • 1/4 Tbsp powdered cinnamon
  • Pimento, clove and ginger (to your taste)
  • 4 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • 3 tsp lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp Hemp seeds
  • 5-6 tsp Hemp Oil (read more where to buy hemp oil)

Preparation:

Slice the apples and put them in the cooking pot together with hemp oil, cider (or apple juice) sugar and lemon juice, then cook on medium heat. Add hemp seeds and all the spices, remember to stir constantly and cook for about 10-15 minutes until the mixture becomes soft and the liquid is evaporated. When it reaches the soft uniform condition, remove the pot from the heat and let it cool down. Now put it in a strainer and filter through, in order to remove the seeds and spice skins. After that let the sauce cool in the refrigerator, and when it completely cools down, add to the mayonnaise and serve with fish or pork, according to your preferences.

2.     Orange Smoothie with Avocado

Ingredients:

  • Avocado and Banana (1 of each)
  • 1 glass Orange juice
  • 1/4 cup Natural plain Yogurt
  • 1 Tbsp Nutiva Coconut Manna
  • 2 Tbsp Nutiva Organic Shelled Hempseed
  • Ice Cubes

Preparation: Blend all the ingredients until smooth condition.

3.    Bruschetta with Hemp Oil

Ingredients:

  • 3-4 large tomatoes
  • Basil leaves (either fresh or dry)
  • 1 loaf French bread
  • 2-3 garlic cloves
  • 8 tbsp hemp oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • Ground Toasted Hemp Seed

Preparation:

Chop the tomatoes in small pieces and place them in a bowl.  Add salt, basil (if you are using fresh leaves, chop them as well), garlic (crushed) and hemp oil, then stir all the ingredients. Leave it for 10-15 minutes and meanwhile, slice and toast bread until it gets crispy on both sides. After that put tomato mixture on pieces of bread, grind a bit of fresh pepper and hemp seeds on top and the dish is ready to be served.

4.    Banana Bread

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup Hemp Oil
  • 1/2 cup Honey
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 2 mashed bananas
  • 1,5 cups unbleached white flour
  • 1/2 cup Hemp Flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 Cup Hemp Nuggets
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preparation:

Foam together sweetener and oil. Blend egg and banana into a mixture. Sift flour, salt and baking powder together, then add vanilla and hemp nuggets, and mix together all the ingredients. Bake at 350o F for 1 or 1,4 hours. You can check whether bread is ready with a toothpick.
