Garlic and olive oil pasta sauce recipe for 1 pound of pasta
Ingredients
- ½ cup olive oil, extra virgin
- 5-6 cloves of garlic, peeled and chopped finely
- ½ cup of fresh parsley, chopped
- ground pepper and salt to taste
Method
Heat the olive oil over medium heat in some saucepan. Add the chopped garlic into the olive oil and stir fry till it becomes golden brown. Though be cautious not to burn it. Remove the olive oil with garlic from heat and add the parsley, ground pepper and salt. Your pasta should be ready by this time, so immediately pour the hot sauce over it and toss it well. It is important to cook the pasta in advance so that the sauce stays hot. Avoid reheating the sauce.

If your want your sauce to have more complex flavor, try to add some complementary ingredients. To make the taste of your sauce more spicy add some chili flakes.
