Macadamia nut oil granola bars

Macadamia nut oil uses in cooking are endless: from breakfast to drinks. Granola bar with this oil is a perfect snack or even breakfast, which is full of necessary substances and fills you up with energy and good mood. The ingredients that you shall need are as following:

  • 4,5 cups of rolled oats
  • 1 cup of flour
  • 1 tsp of baking soda
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup of macadamia nut oil
  • 1/2 cup of honey
  • 1/3 cup of sugar (brown preferable)
  • 2 cups of chocolate chips
  • Nuts or berries of your choice


Preheat the oven till 160oC. While it is heating, mix together all the ingredients and stir properly. Take a medium-sized pan and put a bit of oil in it, then place the mixture in the pan and press lightly. Bake for around 20 minutes or until it turns golden brown. After that, take the pan out and let the mixture cool for some time, then cut it in bars and remove from the pan only when cooled completely.

Stir-fried vegetables

Macadamia nut oil nutrition profile will make your dish healthful. Moreover, the oil adds unique nutty taste to this fast and healthy dish, and treat yourself with a wonderful meal. For stir-fried vegetables you will need:

  • 4 tbsp of macadamia nut oil
  • Beef or chicken (according to your preferences), finely sliced
  • 1 clove of garlic (minced or chopped finely)
  • Fresh ginger, minced
  • 2 tbsp of soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp of rice wine vinegar
  • 1 red pepper, sliced
  • 1 green pepper, sliced
  • 60-70 gr of mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 small zucchini, sliced or cut in strips


Preheat the wok (or large frying pan) and add macadamia oil to it. Wait till it gets heated and add meat, fry for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly. Add vegetables and seasoning to wok and cook for another few minutes, do not forget to stir and make sure that seasoning coated meat and vegetables evenly.

Protein shake with macadamia nut oil

This shake is so delicious it can be called a dessert rather than a healthy drink. For 2 portions, you will need:

  • 120-125 gr of milk
  • 1 tbsp of chocolate whey protein powder
  • 1 tbsp of butter
  • 1 tsp of macadamia nut oil
  • 1/2 tsp of cinnamon powder
  • 1/2 of banana (medium-sized)
  • 1/2 cup of ice
