In order to make macadamia nut oil shampoo, you will need:

  • 1 liter of water
  • 1 and 2/3 cups of soap flakes
  • 2 tbsp of macadamia nut oil
  • 10 drops of Vitamin E
  • 10 drops of rose oil

Preparation:

First put water and soap flakes together in a saucer pan and heat on medium fire, stirring constantly. The mixture should become uniform and flakes should completely dissolve in water. The shampoo will be thin at first but will thicken after some time. Take the pan off fire and let the mixture cool down a bit.Then add the oils in shampoo and mix well, put some of it in the bottle for immediate use and the rest can be placed in a container for storage.

Avocado and macadamia nut oil conditioner

This conditioner is simple to make but it works miracle on your hair, providing deep recovery and treatment. The ingredients include avocado, which nutritional value is explained by Wikipedia. In order to make macadamia nut oil conditioner you will need:

  • 2 peeled avocados without seeds
  • 1 tbsp of macadamia nut oil
  • 1/2 tsp of any fragrance you prefer

Preparation:

Place avocados in blender, add oil and blend for a few seconds till the uniform state. Add fragrance to the mixture and mix well. Apply the conditioner on wet hair and leave it for 15-20 minutes. To ensure the conditioner is spread evenly, you can comb the hair with a brush. After that, wash the conditioner off with shampoo. Keep in mind that such treatment is recommended to be applied only once or twice per month.
