  • Sea buckthorn oil should not be combined with consumption of drugs that are used for lowering sugar level, as the oil also tends to lower it. Therefore, patients with diabetes should take extra care and avoid sea buckthorn oil consumption.
  • Due to its nutrition features, sea buckthorn oil, if combined with certain medications, may cause additive effects. This relates to medications that change cholesterol level, eliminate or reduce ulcers and antibiotics as well.
