Instructions to tea tree oil application for scabies

  1. Take a warm bath after adding 1 tablespoon of tea tree oil to the water. 20 minutes are enough. Use tea tree oil soap.
  2. Dry your skin after the bath and place the towel in a plastic bag. You will wash it later in hot water.
  3. Take a sterile cotton ball and saturate it with tea tree oil (full strength or diluted with olive oil 1:1 if you have a sensitive skin), rub it on the rash; cover all the infected area and even more. Don’t rinse off.
  4. Do such applications at least two times a day.
  5. If possible keep bedding ad all towels sealed in plastic bags for two weeks and then wash them in hot water.
  6. Do not share any clothes with other people and avoid physical contact if you suffer from scabies. It is obligatory to wash your clothing and bed linens in maximum hot water to prevent reinfestation.
  7. If your treatment lasts for more than 14 days seek medical advice.

    There are three natural oils that can help get rid of scabies: neem oil, peppermint oil, and tea-tree oil. These are industrial-strength oils so be sure to test them on a small patch of sin before covering your entire body with them. You do not want to have an allergic skin reaction. If they are too strong, they can be diluted with vegetable oil. Use any of these three oils the same you would citrus except you do not rinse these off. Pour a small amount into the palm of your hand and spread over the body as you would lotion. This can be a daily routine untill remove your scabies.
